As we prepared this new book, we had the privilege of interviewing authentic leaders from many fields. Every person’s story was fascinating to hear. Most but not all had technical training and careers. We had so many interviews that not all of them would fit in the book—so we’ll share a few here. We hope you enjoy reading them.
Jill Gugisberg Wall
Jill Gugisberg Wall is a retired Aerospace and Engineering Program manager and teacher, and was one of the guiding forces behind the successful Farnsworth Aerospace magnet school in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jan Hansen
Jan Hansen is the president/CEO of Educate Tanzania. She joined the faculty of the University of St. Thomas, becoming co-chair of Teacher Education in the School of Education. She was co-founder of the Center for Engineering Education, a partnership of the Schools of Engineering and Education, which prepared highly qualified teachers for STEM education. Read Jan’s story.
